With our virtual admission service, any musculoskeletal evaluation can be conducted. To request this service, please contact us through the digital channels provided or by emailing us directly at info@ontariomedicalassessments.com
Upon initiation, you will be provided with two significant dates: the first being your virtual admission date and the second being the date for your in-person evaluation. The initial appointment will be conducted with the claimant by an experienced RHP, and the subsequent in-person assessment will be completed within 8 weeks of the virtual intake.
During the virtual admission, the patient will be questioned in a manner similar to an in-person session. In the in-person evaluation, details observed during the virtual admission will be reviewed to ensure consistency or to note any changes. This process ensures the completion and expeditious delivery of a comprehensive legal medical report.
This virtual admission process offers several advantages for the patient, including a smooth and secure appointment experience with protected patient information. Another benefit is that the final evaluator already has much of the work completed, requiring only details from the in-person evaluation for the final report, which is typically delivered approximately two weeks after the conclusion of the in-person session.
Patients have the flexibility to undergo virtual admission from their preferred space or through telephone contact, with the goal of ensuring a comfortable and secure session. Our virtual care platform facilitates secure video and messaging interactions between doctors and patients through a web browser.

Second file reviews by an expert team will always be important for mediation cases or for whatever reason the client wishes. This process is like any other musculoskeletal evaluation. The patient submits their application to Ontario Medical Assessment through regular channels and will receive their virtual interview date with the medical expert they select, and prior to the date, the doctor will review their chart and an assessor will complete the virtual interview with the claimant.
You will be asked at the interview in the same way that you would have been asked during any normal in-person screening process. This session is live and has a limited physical exam. After the virtual interview, the full legal medical report will be completed. If it is necessary, prior to a trial, the plaintiff could be evaluated personally and the report updated.
At Ontario Medical Assessments, we have a team of professionals capable of offering all clients virtual mental health assessments with a simple process with an evaluation made by a psychiatrist/psychologist, just as you would in an in-person session, but virtual.
The assessment request is sent to Ontario Medical Assessments through normal channels, and we will give you the date for the virtual mental health assessment. In this session, the regular process of gathering information about the plaintiff is used to make a diagnosis based on your medical file and that will allow the causes of the patient's ailments to be established.
