This evaluation is key to knowing whether the patient has a measurable impairment, what causes it, if this results in any disability, and what treatment or accommodation is necessary to ameliorate the impairment and/or disability of the patient, which will allow the individual to return to work or not.
In this assessment, professionals evaluate visuospatial functions to assess deficiencies in visual perception, constructive abilities, and general perception of the five senses. Specifically, the following points are evaluated: Problem-solving, memory functionality, attention, concentration spans, planning, prioritizing, information processing speed, and abstract reasoning.
Labor market re-entry assessments ensure that the worker has the right skills and abilities to re-enter the labor market.
This on-site analysis classifies the work being performed and quantifies the job functions, according to the physical, environmental, and cognitive demands required to help the claimant find suitable work alternatives and suggest ways to modify the role to suit the situation.
Patients who need this type of evaluation often have cognitive, emotional, functional, or psychological difficulties that make it more difficult for them to get and keep jobs. The goal is to match the individual with the best jobs available based on her attitudes and abilities.
Psycho-vocational evaluations consider factors such as psychological capacities, aptitude, abilities, and personality traits to present psychological and vocational results. This process is performed by a registered psychologist and is used so that a person who was injured in an accident can return to their employment.
A functional abilities assessment report includes details of the functional skills assessment and is intended to determine if a claimant is ready to return to work or daily activities. In this evaluation, strength, effort, and tolerance to repetitive and sustained activities are measured.
Claimants must have a Future Care Cost assessment that guarantees coverage for future disabilities or challenges resulting from the incident and this assessment must be comprehensive and supported by data and research. Coverage must cover needs related to attendant care, transportation, medication, home modification, education, or training.
We take care in reviewing the files to ensure that each patient has an accurate diagnosis and treatment options in the medical evaluation. We also have qualified medical personnel near the patient's location for file review.
